1. Introduction
Kind Mom Loving Dad is the data controller and operates under the company OK IT Consulting ApS, Bakkegade 1A, 3600 Frederikssund, Denmark (CVR: 46067754) ("we," "our," or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we process (collect, use, store) your personal data.
2. Data We Collect, Purpose and Legal Grounds for Processing
We process your personal data either based on:
- your consent, in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR,
- our obligations under a contractual agreement with you, GDPR article 6(1)(b), as our customer, and/or
- our legitimate interests in delivering information and services to you, provided in a sense that do not interfere with your rights, GDPR article 6(1)(f).
For the specified processing activities below, we process the following personal data:
2.1 Account Information. We collect your email address for authentication purposes.
2.2 Voice Samples. When you create a voice clone, we collect audio samples you upload. These samples are processed to create voice embeddings.
2.3 Generated Content. We store audio files generated using our service along with associated scripts and metadata.
2.4 Usage Data. We collect information about how you use our service, including timestamps, language preferences, and generation history.
2.5 Consent Records. We track when you agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, including IP address and timestamp.
2.6 Family Member Data. If you participate in family sharing, we collect email addresses of invited family members, family group membership, and shared access data (voices, scripts, hours usage). Family member invitations are managed via email whitelist only.
2.7 Payment Details. If you are a paying customer, we can access certain payment information through our payment provider. However, we do not have access to your credit card details.
2.8 Social Media Activities. We process your personal data through your interaction with us on our social media channels.
2.9 Service Updates and Service Improvements. We process your personal data for service notifications e.g. magic links, warnings but also to improve our service quality and performance.
3. Data Retention
3.1 Automatic Data Deletion Schedule
3.1.1 Voice Samples:
- Free users: Deleted after 24 hours
- Paid users: Deleted 90 days after your prepaid hours expire
3.1.2 Generated Audio:
- Free users: Deleted after 30 days
- Paid users: Deleted 90 days after your prepaid hours expire
3.2 Inactive Account Deletion
3.2.1 Warning Period. If your account has been inactive for 6 months, we will send a service email to notify you of potential data deletion.
3.2.2 Deletion Period. Accounts inactive for 12 months or more may be deleted, along with all associated data.
3.2.3 Reactivation. You can reactivate your account at any time before deletion by signing in or clicking the reactivation link in the warning email.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
4.1 Service Providers. We share data with trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating our platform (e.g., cloud storage providers). Regarding cross-border transfers, we only use providers that are:
- located in a country which provides adequate level of protection for your personal data, and/or
- under an agreement, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
4.2 Legal Requirements. We may disclose your data if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests.
4.3 No Sale of Data. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Your GDPR Rights
Regarding your personal data, you may have the following GDPR rights:
5.1 Right to Access. You can request a copy of all your personal data through your account settings ("Export My Data").
5.2 Right to Rectification. You can request your personal data to be corrected if inaccurate.
5.3 Right to Delete. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data through your account settings.
5.4 Right to Restriction of Processing. You can restrict processing of your personal data.
5.5 Right to Data Portability. You can request data portability.
5.6 Right to Object and Automated Individual Decision-Making, Including Profiling. You can object to the processing and not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling.
5.7 Right to Withdraw Your Consent. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe option in each message. You may also withdraw your consent, which will result in your account being deleted.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority: datatilsynet.dk.
6. Children's Privacy
Our service is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies and local storage to:
- Authenticate your session
- Remember your preferences
- Enable offline functionality (PWA)
We do not use tracking cookies for advertising purposes.
8. AI Training and Your Data
8.1 No Model Training. We do NOT use your voice samples, generated audio, or scripts to train or improve any AI models. Your data is used solely to provide the service to you.
8.2 Pre-Trained System. The text-to-speech system is pre-trained on public domain audio samples and does not learn from your voice uploads.
8.3 Voice Embeddings. Your voice samples are only used to create personal voice embeddings for generating audio in that specific voice. These embeddings are deleted according to our data retention schedule.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
